About me
Hi Guys
I have climbed frozen waterfalls in New Hampshire, backpacked for 24 days around Denali in Alaska, climbed Mount Washington, crawled a mile underground, and even spent 2 minutes inside a class IV rapid. Thankfully I was spit out and continue to adventure. For 15 years, I lead outdoor adventure trips mainly in the southeast, but also including 10 day adventures to Idaho & British Columbia to name a few. In 2003, I met a woman on one of those adventures who caught my attention and wasn’t scared off by my love for the cold. 4 years later she asked me out on a date and we went to a drive through safari. 2 years of adventures and moving her across the country, we married. Despite my mom’s wish, my wife hasn’t settled this guy down. She actually sent me on a solo 4 day backpacking trip in Colorado the week of our wedding. She reserved a Defender 90 for me to drive back if I had any problems. After leading trips and facilitating leadership experiences, I got the shock of finding out we were expecting our first daughter. I left guiding world behind and continued to work as a Leadership Facilitator & Consultant for the next 5 years. But the biggest adventure started of parenthood. At 9 years of age she shows & jumps horses competitively . We try to live our life to the fullest daily if not monthly as we personally know that life is fragile. Oh and in our first 10 years of marriage, we moved 15 times despite living in 2 locations for 2 1/2 years. Other things to know
My first Land Cruiser was a 1993 HZ75 Troopy in 2009.
